Catching up with Iain Murray in Bermuda

The final event of the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series in Bermuda is warming up, with unofficial practice today, and practice racing tomorrow before racing on Saturday and Sunday.
With all eyes on Bermuda as the new home of Oracle Team USA, and host of the 35th America’s Cup in 2017, I took the opportunity this morning to catch up with Iain Murray, the Regatta Director. We chat about how the plans are going behind the scenes, the race track intricacies, and the weather for this weekend and beyond.
For tomorrow and Saturday it is looking very light across the models, but Iain is confident the organisers and sailors have what it takes to put on a great spectacle.
With the breeze expected on Sunday (about 15 knots), I can’t wait to see the fleet finishing right in Hamilton Harbour!
