Radio show number 8, one of my lucky numbers!
I managed to catch Jason Waterhouse straight from Austria at the GC32′s at 2am this morning – too awesome! With his team, skippered by Sebastian Cole, they had two bullets just before I spoke to him. Great to hear that all is going well for this dedicated cat sailor.
I also chatted with Howie Hamlin on his 5o5 North Americans win, and Stacey Jackson on all that is ahead for her with Team SCA and the Volvo Ocean Race!
I also managed to catch Iain Murray, en route to North Sails Australia to chat about the Etchells Midwinters, as well as the Team Australia and the America’s Cup.
My personal adventure for the week involved a very serious story about M&M’s post-racing at the CYCA Winter Series race today!
